Searsucker is one of the most popular restaurants in San Diego. The restaurant was opened by Brian Malarkey. As many as 140 people can fit in the restaurant, and they are open for lunch, dinner or brunch on Sunday. Orders are taken online, and then you can pick up your food instead of waiting in a long line. The menu consists of fine foods that include appetizers, main courses, desserts and wines. There are small bites such as cheddar puffers that you can get before your meal. The main courses include steak, fish and farm favorites like chicken and duck.
There is an assortment of desserts, but they are limited until the restaurant expands. Private parties can be held in the upstairs area of the restaurant. There is enough room for 32 people to sit at the tables, and valet parking is offered. Guests at the party can taste an assortment of foods that are on the menu, or they can order from the chef’s exclusive menu for parties. Chef Brian Malarkey will personally deliver all of the food and drinks to party guests. If you have an event that needs to be catered, you can call the restaurant and place an order. There is no dress code, but most people wear dresses, skirts, dress pants or khaki pants. The prices are affordable, and most dishes range from $5 to $15.
