Unbeknownst to many people, George’s Ocean Terrace is a modish fish taco landmark in San Diego. Popular desserts offered include Caramel Apple Crisp, Chocolate Raspberry Layer Cake, Pumpkin Bread Pudding, and Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Sandwiches, pasta, salads, and sides start at $9.50 and up. Desserts start at $8.25 and up. George’s Ocean Terrace also boasts a luxurious bar. Be sure to try the fresh squeezed strawberry-infused vodka or the traditional Bloody Mary. Specialty drinks start at $10 and up. Keep in mind that there is a food minimum of $15 per person.

George’s Ocean Terrace opens at 11 a.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Valet parking is offered. Nearby hotels include the La Valencia Hotel, the Empress Hotel of La Jolla, and the Hotel Parisi.
